I recently had a flat roof covered using the RubberBond system by this company and I would definitely recommend them. I live in an old stone built house with a natural slate roof. On the rear of the property there is a dormer style extension which also had a slate roof but leaked from the area of a lead line valley. I had tried a number of solutions, but was unable to stop this leak, which by this time had deteriorated.
Having contacted numerous roofing experts and obtaining a number of quotes for various repairs and re-roofing solutions we decided to go with Robert Widdrington of Lossie Tilers, and to have the roof done in Fleecebacked Rubber as the pitch of the roof was fairly shallow to allow good run off for slate. Robert explained the benefits of the system and that it would solve our problems 'long term'.
Mr Widdrington supplied the quotation for the Rubber, Alloy edging, 50mm Kingspan and replacement ridge stones. The work was carried out to our complete satisfaction to a very high degree of quality by Lossie Tilers, and on budget. The roof is now completely water tight and it looks good too, marrying in well with the slate roof. I can honestly say that I will not have to worry about this roof in my lifetime. Mr Widdrington communicated at every level where decisions had to be made and he was sympathetic to the style and age of the house making sure this was not compromised at all. We were happy to have a local company do the work which is important to us. We still see Robert around and are happy for him to show prospective customers our roof as an example of this high quality roofing solution.
